Americom Marketing Wins ADDY for Jay Bruce Golf Benefit Website

The Jay Bruce Golf Benefit team is honored to announce that Americom Marketing LP, the design and advertising agency in Beaumont responsible for the design and launch of the Jay Bruce Golf Benefit website, took home bronze honors from the 2015 AAF - Lake Charles district's American Advertising Awards for www.jaybrucegolfbenefit.com.

Along with gold and silver wins in other categories, we are thrilled that jaybrucegolfbenefit.com was such a success for Americom Marketing. The site was the crowned jewel of the 2014 Jay Bruce Golf Benefit as it gave golfers and sponsors the opportunity to register, pay, and donate online for the first time since the tournaments inception, setting a record of $60,000 raised for The Arc of Greater Beaumont and West Brook High School life skills.

Aside from what we are able to do for The Arc of Greater Beaumont and WBHS, there are few things within the Jay Bruce Golf Benefit package that we are as proud of as our signature trophies.

Each member of the top three teams receives a custom Louisville Slugger bat with our logo, which is the company who produces the bats Jay uses throughout the season.

“I grew up using Louisville Slugger bats and have continued to use the timeless brand during my major league career,” Jay Bruce said. “I felt it was important to partner up with Louisville Slugger to create the awards for the tournament, adding a unique spin to the typical golf tournament trophy.”

We are more than excited about the upcoming 5^th Annual Jay Bruce Golf Benefit and working hard to bring a wonderful experience to all who come out to Bayou Din to join the fun.

Not golfing? No worries. Our amazing cooks will be on the course early Saturday preparing food for everyone in attendance, there will be games and fun for all ages, and there are plenty of ways to get involved that don’t involve a pitching wedge.

“We are really focused this year on making the tournament a true family event," Jay Bruce said. "We will have a bounce house, games for kids and adults who think they are kids, great food, music, and many of opportunities to support The Arc and West Brook Life Skills without golfing. The silent auction is a great way to get involved and pick up something that you can't find just anywhere."

Some of the items that will be up for auction include signed memorabilia from Michael Jordan, Kelly Clarkson, Troy Aikman, Tony Romo, Sugar Ray Leanord, Roberto Duran, and David Robinson.

New Look. New Year. New Things to Come!

We are proud to announce that things are in motion for the 5th Annual Jay Bruce Golf Benefit. We have our new promotional materials ready, new website, new prizes and extras for the tournament event, and we are getting sponsors on board! This year, the tournament will take place on November 15th – Saturday – at Bayou Din Golf Course in Beaumont. The tee time is 10 AM and the registration begins at 9 AM.

This year marks the start of something new with our JayBruceGolfBenefit.com website. This site is a comprehensive “home base” for news and information for the tournament as well as the home for registering teams for the event, signing on to sponsor the event and making donations. “This new website is responsive,” says Hannah Bruce, “meaning that it seamlessly adjusts for any screen - for easy display and use on computers to tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices. That was really important for us heading into this year and ongoing.” The website creation and other advertising promotions have been a collaborative effort with our team and Americom Marketing of Beaumont, Tx.

Among the new additions this year and giveaways, our sponsorship packages range from $50 golf ball sponsorships for the Ball Drop to the Championship Package of 4 golf teams and more. The Ball Drop is an exciting new game sponsorship wherein a helicopter will drop a load of sponsored golf balls over a hole. Closest one wins! For the grand Raffle prize – a trip to the 2015 All Star Game in Cincinnati!
